Statement of intent

  STATEMENT OF INTENT START   How do you intend to use the four areas of the media theoretical framework [media language, institutional conventions, audience appeal and a range of social representations] to communicate meaning and meet the requirements of your chosen brief? (approx. 400 words)   Product 1 – magazine   I have chosen brief 3 of magazine and online. I am going to produce two magazine front covers and two contents pages of a new current affairs magazine that is being launched by Dennis and two pages for the working website for the magazine , to suit the target audience of a 16- 25 middle to up market socially conscious demographic, I will make it suitable for retail distribution.   I will use a least four different main images, using original photography. Task 7

TASK 7: ANNOTATED FRONT COVER: Produce a detailed analysis of the front cover of your favourite current affairs magazine aimed at your target audience. This should have the front cover in the centre and at least 15 annotations based on the bullet points in Task 4 above. Add to the blog post by bullet-pointing ideas this gives you for your own magazine target audience 16 - 25 middle to up market demographic (socially concious) i liked the idea of these magazine covers as they have hidden and deeper meaning behind the original posts.  The demographic that im aiming towards prefer hidden meaning and descovering for themselves their opinions on such matters, whereas older demographics prefer to be told what they could think In this magazine i liked how they show that no matter who someone is, you dont know there beliefs wheather political, religious or cultural - the trump hat (why do people wear it if they know the contiations behind it/ or what people believe it represents) - people
